We all have an inner child in us. And we all understand the importance of play and what it means for children. And that was even more apparent to me as a mother. And so yeah I want Palestinian kids to have that. And they deserve it. All children deserve that.

Play, while it cannot change the external realities of children’s lives, can be a vehicle for children to explore and enjoy their differences and similarities and to create, even for a brief time, a more just world where everyone is an equal and valued participant.
