It is with great sadness to learn that Hedy Epstein, a dear friend of Palestine, is gravely ill. All of us at Playgrounds for Palestine extend love and warmth to Hedy and her family. PfP was approached by Hedy’s closest friends who would like to dedicate a playground in celebration of Hedy’s life. Below is the text we were asked to post from her friends: Hedy left us on Thursday, May 26, 2016. She will be missed by those of us who knew and loved her and by many others who never met her but who loved her for her infectious smile, her indomitable spirit, and her unfailing dedication to protesting human rights abuses in Palestine and wherever she saw them.
