January 2026 Many of our students were coming to school shivering in flimsy clothes in the dead of winter. So we got to work and found a way to warm them up a bit. Thank you for all of your support!
If you follow us on Instagram, you’ll have seen postings of our activities in Gaza over the past two years. Since early 2024, we have diverted all of our resources to Gaza’s children, to help them not only survive, but to thrive despite the enormous deprivations. We have now established two schools, one in Gaza City and one in Deir el Balah. The Phoenix School was our first, with multiple start and stops due to ongoing bombings. But it is finally re-established in Gaza City and running for the second year in a row, with approximately 200 students. Our second school, established in August at the start of the new school year, is operating successfully in
PfP sponsored an ongoing kitchen in Rafah to feed several hundred families per day throughout the month of Ramadan. PfP created a hakawatiyyeh tent for after Iftar storytelling. With PfP’s support, Safaa, a former schoolteacher, is bringing joy to children in the camps with regular activities like puzzles, crafts, coloring, and story time. PfP working with local Palestinian organizations dedicated to uplifting children in need through food distribution and aid. We are grateful for all your support. Another PfP funded initiative by Safaa, a former school teacher. After the activity, she treated the children and captured these moments in photos. Holding it at night helps manage the crowd, because doing it in the daytime attracts way more children than she can manage.

Enjoy, laugh, play! Our donation is for the children of Palestine in memory of our beloved friend, Marita Boullata. Marita lived in Palestinian in her early marriage. She championed its land, culture and people, especially children.
