…helping children reclaim their childhoods August 2014 NBC 10 of Philadelphia Segment on PfP NBC 10 – Philadelphia traveled to Palestine and did a story Playgrounds for Palestine. They visited the community space we built in Aida Refugee Camp and spoke to the kids and to the wonderful Salah Ajarma, Director of Lajee Center
The community LOVES movie nights! susan abulhawa brought a projector to Gaza when she went there and it has been a huge hit. PfP staff charge it by day, and by evening, the projector offers a small sense of normalcy and escape for people trying to survive genocide.
My contribution makes me happy for the cause, and is inspired by my friends, Holly and Scudder, who are getting married.
