Julia Gambell donates her birthday money!

Instead of asking for gifts on her 10th birthday, Julia Gambell of Yardley, PA, asked her guest to make a charitable donation. After a great slumber party on April 21st, Julia collected $100 in birthday money, which she decided to give to PfP.

When asked why she decided to donate her birthday money, and why she picked PfP, Julia had this to say: “I picked PfP because for one thing, it must be so unfourtanate to have nothing to play with or nothing to play on. So, when I heard of the charity PfP I thought wow, how terrible would it be to have nothing to do. I wanted to give away money to those who needed it because to me, I am so fourtanate, I don’t need presents. The children in Palestine do.”

Thank you, Julia! You have a very big heart and an unselfish spirit. We’re very grateful (and lucky) to know you.
