Anan’s Cooking Class Raises Over $1300!

Anan Zahr, a member of PfP’s Board of Directors, happens to be an amazing cook! On Saturday, August 4th she used her talent and hard work to hold a cooking class at her home, with all proceeds going to PfP.

Fourteen people came to the class at a donation of $40 per person. It was a hands-on experience, so students got to consume or take home what they made. Many attendees purchased Palestinian olive oil from PfP.

It was a brunch menu that consisted of Foul Moudamas, Fatet Hummus/with meat and pine nuts, Tomato Chutney, Falafel, Ijji (parsley omelet), Manaqueesh.

Also, Anan is looking for someone to volunteer their house kitchen for 3 hours and invite 5-10 of their friends for another cooking lesson. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are good after October 15th, 07. This is a great way for you to contribute to PfP and have a delicious and authentic Palestinian (or Arabic) meal. This cooking class will be a dinner menu, (you can also request a vegetarian menu) at a minimum of $60.00 donation per person.
