I was a Primary School teacher for twenty years and now work in Education Welfare. As a teenager I spent time in Palestine which left a deep and lasting effect on me. The ability to make a small difference to the lives of Palestinian children attracted me to the work of Playgrounds for Palestine.
At both the Phoenix School and the Modern Childhood School, our students participated in craft workshops to create Ramadan decorations
Enjoy, laugh, play! Our donation is for the children of Palestine in memory of our beloved friend, Marita Boullata. Marita lived in Palestinian in her early marriage. She championed its land, culture and people, especially children.
